Direct Rail Links to and from Camberley

Camberley is located on the Ascot to Guildford line.

Direct trains leave from Camberley at 18 minutes past the hour and 48 minutes past the hour to Bagshot (5 minutes) and Ascot (12 minutes). Ascot is on the main line from Reading to Waterloo via Sunningdale and Staines.

Direct trains leave from Camberley at 9 minutes past the hour and 39 minutes past the hour to Frimley (4 minutes), Ash Vale (10 minutes) and Aldershot (15 minutes). If you stay on the train it takes you to Ash and Warnborough, terminating at Guildford. You can change at either Ash Vale or Aldershot to pick up the main line trains from Alton via Farnham to Waterloo.

Other local railway stations and routes

The North Downs line connects Reading to Guildford and beyond. The nearest station to the office is Blackwater, about 1½ miles along the A30 just past the Meadows (Tesco’s and M&S). The line passes through Wokingham, Crowthorne and Sandhurst from the Reading end and Ash, North Camp and Farnborough North from the Guildford end. The Number 3 bus runs every 15 minutes from Blackwater Post Office (adjacent the station) to Camberley station (3 or 4 minutes walk from the office) with a journey time of 15 minutes.

The South West main line from Waterloo to Weymouth passes through Woking, Fleet, Hook, Basingstoke and Winchester with a station at Farnborough. There are no easy rail links from here to the office. It is however served by the regular No1 Goldline buses which take about 25 minutes from Farnborough station to Knoll Road, see below.

Local Bus routes in Camberley

Route 1 ‘Goldline’ is serviced by distinctive Gold and Blue buses running every 10 minutes between Aldershot, via Farnborough main line station to the Old Dean estate in Camberley via the Farnborough Road (A325) and the Frimley Road (B3411) passing through Camberley up to the A30. The stops in Knoll Road adjacent to the Library and the Charles Church Offices are just a minutes walk from the office.

Route 2 ‘Stagecoach’ buses wind through Farnborough, Cove, Pinewood, Frimley (including the hospital) and Heatherside terminating at the stops near Camberley Station, a 3 or 4 minute walk from the office. They run every 30 minutes and depart Camberley at 25 minutes and 55 minutes past the hour.

Route 3 ‘Stagecoach’ buses link Yateley and Blackwater with Camberley in one direction and Frimley, Mytchett and Ash Vale in the other and run every 15 minutes, again with stops adjacent to Camberley station.
